SB6120 issues with Cox - Cable-Modem.Net Forums

I looked around on some forums, and it seems like the egress is in the firmware variety that Cox is pushing to this modem. Currently it is 1.0.1.7-SCM00-NOSH rendition. I called several higher neck techs, and they reject to press a newer firmware saying "it hasn't been tested on their network yet". The latest kind from Motorola (as far as I recall) is 2.3, and it is being toughened on Comcast network already. My modem came with 1.0.8 firmware, and Tools Emendation 3.0, but was downgraded to 1.0.7 portrayal, and metal goods updating 1.0 next day after I plugged it in. (I wonder how is it practicable that the ironmongery improvement swarm has changed? Honestly out-of-the-way. Anyone can expound that?)
