There is a yellow exclamtion point next to PCI modem in device manager.My internet doesnt work.How do i fix it

I have a sony desktop. My internet justifiable stopped working. I uninstalled the PCI modem in my device manager. The modem is fine because i can still braze wirelessly with my laptop. I can't use the internet on my desktop so i can't go online and download anything. I'm demanding

You uninstalled the desktop INTERNAL modem. The wireless interplay on your laptop is irrelevant. You need to reinstall the modem. In device manager, virtue-click on the computer name (the top line) and click on Scan for hardware changes. Then reinstall your modem.
