Can you put two ether net chords together to make a longer one without a hub/modem?
I prerequisite to hook my X box up from another room but my wire isn't long enough (story of my sustenance). I have two smaller ones that would work without buying a longer one. is that conceivable by buying like a coupling?
You're gonna have a lot of dB depletion doing it that way. The price of a connector for such a connection would be about the same amount spent for you to buy 2 commonplace RJ-45M connectors and some CAT 5 cable and make your own longer cable. Get the parts at Home Depot and net
