Does the Apple Airport Express require a wireless modem in order to get wireless internet access?

I have a uniform cable modem and wanted to know if I plug it into the Airport Expresss, is that enough to get wireless internet access in my shelter. Someone told me that a wireless modem is needed in conjunction with the Airport for it to business properly.


Bind the airport express to the cable modem with an ethernet cable. Turn both off and then back on. If the light on the Airport Express at the end of the day turns green, you should have wireless internet access around the council, or at least you can run the airport admin utility
