How do I put my DSL modem into bridge mode?

I have an force tec 1000 modem and I'm trying to set up a Netgear wireless router. The Netgear people are significant me that my modem is acting as a modem and a router, which is causing my wireless router not to industry. How do I set my DSL modem to bridge mode?

You should be proficient to communicate the the modem via web page like 192.168.1.254 or something similar. On that call, you will be able to change this setting for your modem. I don't know about your specific modem but this is how I did it for my Westell modem a while back.
