Modem 651 error - Modems

When I connect modem(currently connected to desktop) to Laptopp why it gives modem error(651)..?

i get LAN ally on laptop but unable to access intenet...with error 'MODEM ERROR 651'...What is the plead with and solution?

Go into My computer > command panel > modems.
Check correct modem is installed. If not then waste modem > restart computer > re-install modem.
If still getting the same problem > go into control panel > networks > eliminate dial up adapter and
