Can i get an external disk drive for my Acer Aspire One Netbook?

I have an acer aspire one netbook with no disk fissure thing. Is there any external ones around, how much are they and where from?
Is it a CD Burner?
I'm not sure what I am meant to be looking for.

Would an Acer Aspire be a good primary computer?
