I seem to find both of these at around the same fee, both with around 1.8-1.9ghz. 2gb ram. and more hard drive than i will ever use. so all in all which one is my better by the acer for about 600$ or the dell for about 650?
there is only 1 valid drawback to the dell 1501 and that is that the power jack gets separated from the motherboard. freebie behaviour towards the laptop nicely and you'll never experience this issue. The dell does have a segregate ATI video card as opposed to the acer's intel
