What is the difference between Tamron 70-300 macro and 70-300 telephoto?
I have a Canon 350d and a Tamron 70-300 macro Ldi. After 180mm you have to turn the macro button and go on to 300mm. Does this mean it zooms only to 180 mm? I am in the light of buying a 55-200mm sigma, will it give me more magnification than my Tamron?
the macro lens is suppositious to give you dedicated macro from 180 to 300 but it is poor trait, I bought one cause it was cheap, you get what you pay for. If you want quality you have to pay for it. Canon have a yoke of lenses you should look at. the new 18-200 usm or the 70-300
