How can my computer connect to the internet through two routers?

I moral bought a DLINK wireless router and installed it. My internet bond comes from a neighboring internet café. Therefore, the line runs through their router before coming to my DLINK router. My router can log onto their router’s DHCP server but I cannot through the internet.
there can only be ONE router in on a network, then switches and access points for any expansions to it. 2 routers will end up conflicting with each other.
