5ghz Wireless N Router - Bridges and Routers

Can I use multi-band N wireless router (2.4 and 5GHZ) with a legacy G router using 1 internet connection?

I would like to keep the N router on 5GHZ for some devices, and to run the G router for my legacy devices (or non-N). The dual body is not simultaneous (either 2.4 or 5).
