Optima Starting Battery - Batteries

Can I use a yellow top optima battery to start my car and power my sound system?

I have a mignonne decent system one 300 amplifier and two 6x9 plus two 12 inch kicker cvx. Or is the yellow top only for car audio and maximum performance. Dont listen to system alot but i want power from the battery.

a RED optima would be gambler for starting your car it has more Cold Cranking Amps, However a Yellow has more reserve competency to run an amp. Your choice.
