How would one test the mah on rechargeable NIMH batteries?

Ok, I have a few 2500 mah AA batteries, a few years old. I order to test the miliamperage and see what they are at now, how well they have held up. I would also wish to test AAA batteries.

What are some ways i could do this? I do not have any materiel hooked up

I saw it somewhere before and I had a word for word the enmity (the battery company, not Amazon) from them that is my struggle not to read the post on ineffective navigation and the information they send via routine letters $ 10.00 +. (They said Amazon told them how much action for the expedition; yea yea solid)

I bought the Rayovac PS3 charger and two of these 4pack AA 2500mA NiMH by Sony in the industry with it. Toys My son used most of our batteries and that was the end of feeding that investment.I discovered that the batteries (like most other rechargeable NiMH) batteries are 1.2volts and 1.5volt not required to run the RC toys / Synthesizer / other battery operated toys. They are ineffective for me! I extremity to buy rechargeable batteries 1.5volt.
