Hillsboro To Observe Veterans' Day

Veterans of Hill County will be honored with numerous activities on Veterans’ Day Friday, November 11. This article highlights events in Hillsboro.
The day will found with the traditional Dutch-treat Reveille breakfast, which is hosted by the Robert Vaden-Stipend McBride American Legion Post 4 of Hillsboro.
It will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the Bob Bullock Dining Latitude of the Hill College cafeteria.
Lineup for a parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. on the parking lot of Hillsboro Inferior High School.
The parade will get underway at 10 a.m.
Parade marshal and roomer speaker for the memorial service will be Bill Barner of Hillsboro.
He is a Vietnam War seasoned, having served from 1967-1968 as a fire direction-control specialist in the Army. He was assigned to the Howitzer Battery, 2nd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Standardize.
